Who we are

This policy explains how MTE Rehab & Performance Ltd ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal information when you visit the MTE Academy page, buy a programme, or use the coaching app and resources that come with it. We are the data controller for your information. You can contact us about anything in this policy at mte_rehabperformance@hotmail.com.

What we collect

• Contact and account details: your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number and social media handle.
• Purchase details: the programme you buy, dates and payment status. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
• Health and training information: your answers to the health questionnaire, any injuries or conditions you tell us about, performance test results and training data you log in the coaching app.
• Parent or guardian details: if you are under 18, the name and contact details of the parent or guardian who agrees to the terms on your behalf.
• Messages: anything you send us by email, direct message or through the coaching app.
• Website data: basic technical information such as your device, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics on our website.

How and why we use it

• To deliver your programme (set up your account, give you access to the coaching app and the Football Performance Vault, and manage your subscription). Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you.
• To keep you safe while training (reviewing your health questionnaire and any injury information). Health information is special category data, so we only use it with your explicit consent, which you give when you complete the questionnaire. You can withdraw this consent at any time, although we may then be unable to continue providing the programme safely.
• To take payments and keep records required for tax and accounting. Lawful basis: contract and legal obligation.
• To send you emails about your programme and, if you agree, training tips and offers. Lawful basis: contract for service emails, and consent or legitimate interests for marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email.
• To improve our website and programmes. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the Academy and who process it on our instructions, including our website platform (Squarespace), our coaching app (Everfit), our payment provider, our email platform (Kit), our online community and education platform (Skool) and our messaging tools. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, they use appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved contract clauses. We may also share information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you are an active member and for up to 2 years after your last programme ends, so we can help if you return or have a query. Financial records are kept for 6 years as required by law. Health questionnaire answers are deleted within 2 years of your membership ending unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to ask for a copy to move elsewhere, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email mte_rehabperformance@hotmail.com. We will respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Children

If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to the terms and to this policy on your behalf before you buy a programme.
